Rice Library COVID-19 Response FAQ

Study space and computer access will be available for individual use and by appointment only. Several study rooms now have hard-wired PCs to facilitate synchronous course access and testing. Open study seats and computers are also available, typically in 2 hours slots.

USI students can also borrow laptops for use in the Rice Library only or iPads and Galaxy Tablets on 2-week loan after completing the Technology Lending Agreement each school year. Faculty and staff also borrow laptops, webcams, and more. Supplies may be limited on some devices, so students, faculty and staff are encouraged to plan ahead as much as possible.
